Extending the validity of student cards – information from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education

During the period when the operation of a higher education institution is restricted, special arrangements provided for in Article 51b of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Research shall apply.

Student identity cards, doctoral student identity cards and for academic teacher cards shall remain valid during the period of the limitation or suspension of the operation of a higher education institution and 60 days after the end of this period. Therefore, it is not necessary to appear in person at a higher education institution in order to extend the validity of the aforementioned cards.
